Rumble in the Jungle 2008 is into its next exciting stage,
with the regional entrants now confirmed.
With such an awesome array of prizes up for grabs, over 60 DJs answered the
call for the competition. These entries have now been cut down to 40 DJs,
covering the four regional events across the country.
The regional events are series of three knockout rounds. In the first round, 10
DJs compete in the first stage, who are then knocked down to 4, and finally the
final two compete to claim the title of regional champion. The top two DJs from
each regional are then confirmed in the grand final, to be held in Wellington on the 4th of
October.
The rounds are short and the pressure is high, and the sets will be
exhilarating and tight, as the hours of practice get thrown down in all out
audio warfare.
