Reggae Culture Info Session with the Mighty Asterix, Friday 29 August, 8.30pm

 
Secret Level Youth Centre in Lower Hutt is running an information workshop (info-session) with The Mighty Asterix to shed light on past, present and future reggae culture in this country.  

'We are excited and humbled to have such a legendary musician, such as Asterix, take time out of his busy schedule to come and shed light on this influential music culture we call reggae', said Marc Freeman, youth worker and facilitator. 

This free info-session is modeled on the Red Bull Music Academy and includes a couch, interviewer, interviewee, people and music. This is the second such workshop that Secret Level has run and doors will open at 8pm on Friday 29 August with the session starting at about 8.30. Once finished, DJ Voodoo will be doing some selecting covering past, present and future reggae sound. 

Secret Level Youth Centre is located at 229A High St Lower Hutt, one minute from the Queensgate bus stop.
