Fire I Blaze (Judgement Fi Babylon) Riddim

Fire I  BlazeReality Chant have scored again! Following the success of their recent riddim ‘You’ve Been Bad’, this local production crew are back with another hot roots riddim to warm the winter months.
‘Fire I Blaze’ was originally produced by Gabriel ‘Messenjah’ Calcott and Paul ‘Nava’ Bimler for Christchurch reggae sound system, Dubwize. This smooth club-friendly riddim was then re-polished, and in 2012, two 7” vinyl cuts (featuring Deadly Hunta, Louie Culture, Hi Kee and version) came out through Reality Chant and Tru Sound Records. It has now been given a fresh, digital release, and features a full set of artists. (more…)

Reality Chant Productions proudly present the release of Fyah Bed and Goodness Gracious – singles by Natty King and Hi Kee, off the forthcoming pioneering compilation roots reggae album, Kings Highway!

Jamaican artist, Natty King, dedicates himself to spreading conscious and cultural music, drawing inspiration from The Wailers, Burning Spear and his personal role model, Luciano.  Since his emergence, he has graced the stage of major Jamaican festivals like Sting, Rebel Salute and Reggae Sumfest and has had continued success in JA and internationally.

Also from Jamaica, Hi Kee was given his first opportunity to gain experience on local sound-systems as a youth, recording his first song at age 21 and carrying on his search for musical partners.  He continues to perform and record with labels in Jamaica, France and Finland and is now working on his debut album.
