7″ Re-Issue on Bongoman (Studio One)
This is a rare piece of Studio One that has now been made available to purchase. I normally review new tunes here, but I love this track sooo much I had to let you know about it!
The duo lyrically paint a scene of a ‘good time had by all’ in the dance during that period of time, with lines such as ‘Come mek wi go fun it up….di sound too low please tun it up toniiight!’. This is a wicked rocksteady riddim with that classic ’13 Brentford Road’ sound.
I first saw this track on a ‘moody’ comp a few years back, so I was delighted to see it had been put out on 7” with an instrumental on the other side. It is a must for all connoisseurs. There is a whole lot of legit Studio One rare re-issues out now, seek and ye shall find.
