Bent Backs Sound was founded in 2009 in Rennes, France. Passionate about the 80s era of reggae, the crew collect records, cut original dub plates, and promote artists and sessions.

In 2011, Bent Backs founder, Lo, decided to move forward and produce his own records. Bent Backs is now a Brooklyn-based label working with artists in New-York and riddim makers from Rennes.

Their releases reflect an intention to promote upcoming artists, such as Jay Spaker and S’Kaya, along with recording Jamaican veterans like Johnny Osbourne, Echo Minott, King Kong and Ranking Joe.

Bent Backs live performance features a unique selection of records, exclusives dubplates and unreleased productions in a digital fashion. Expect a shower of vibes!
