A multinational collaboration (Australia, Jamaica, France), “We Want World Peace” makes a pointed call for ‘The assurance of human rights and fundamental freedom for all without distinction as to race’.

The riddim is tough, churning through bar after bar, with keyboards that swirl within the vibes rather than lighten them. Mista Savona may be most well-known for his Havana Meets Kingston releases, but this collaboration with Bost & Bim is more akin to his work on Monkey Marc’s Vital Sound LP.

Clearly understanding the gravity of the moment, Lutan Fyah makes no veiled statements here: ‘A di same massacre me see a gwaan again; Like in Iraq, and Congo, Sudan and Ukraine; Palestine lives all in pain’. Rewind these lyrics, why once when twice is nice?!

Out on all major platforms via Savona Records, or directly from the artist on Bandcamp. A 2024 release, this has received a needed push in early 2025. Please keep it moving ahead.
