Based in Auckland, Parado has been making his mark on the Aotearoa reggae scene, fast earning a reputation for his deep knowledge of all things reggae and his heavy selections in the dance.
After initially discovering reggae through a family connection at around the age of 15, Paradox spent his teenage years listening hard everyday before he eventually took up selecting himself.
He forwards up-to-the-time tunes and is also particularly passionate about beats from the mid to late ’90s and both the Xterminator era and dancehall of the time. He is always interested in keeping up with the international sound system world and is helping to keep the vibes strong in Auckland city and around the country.
The Auckland massive can catch Paradox playing with Ever Living Spirit (Swiss) and Art Official @ Khuja Lounge on Friday 27 February and at Daybreak @ The Rising Sun on Saturday 28 February.
