This fresh release comes on the fourth installment of the much desired Dubbers compilations, and 10-year anniversary of the Jahtari label.
The genius of Pupajim and Disrupt come together on a relick of the Cuss Cuss riddim. Jan Disrupt sends this well-trodden riddim into its first intergalactic encounter, while the dynamic Frenchman performs in a high pitched singing style about his humble intentions of building a sound system and playing for the community.
I’ve been informed by my esteemed colleague Naram that the tune was originally a dubplate for Dub at the Pub, which is a dance held by a Canadian outfit.
