Hailing from Queenstown, Rebel Bass is a long-time bringer of reggae and dancehall music throughout New Zealand. He plays a mix of foundation, early digital, modern roots and bashment to the massive in a sound system style.
Riddim and beat-maker with serious dubplates, he also spreads reggae on the airwaves and runs regular dances in the South.
Rebel Bass last selected in the Capital in November 2006 with the Jafa Mafia Crew. The Welly massive can catch him heating up the dance-floor once more, Friday 13 July @ Good Luck Bar with Sticky Fingaz (Chch) and Art Official.
