Reggae Republic is here to build a steady rhythm for reggae culture in Tāmaki, Auckland. This a reggae renaissance, celebrating roots, revival, and the irie essence of the music we love.
From the sweet heavy basslines of dub, reggae in Aotearoa has always been a powerful force of connection, community, and resistance. With deep roots in Jamaican culture and a thriving presence in New Zealand, reggae reminds us of the strength of oneness – “Out of many, one people.”
It’s a space where all are welcome to skank, chant, and feel the good vibrations, every single month.
