Born in the Caribbean island of Dominica, Tikiman began making music as a child, also developing into a talented vocalist.
After performing in bands throughout the Caribbean, in 2000 while touring through Europe, Tikiman set up his base in Berlin.
His association with the reggae band, Livin Spirits, saw him play to packed out dancehalls and solidified his reputation as a first-class reggae vocalist throughout Germany.
From here, Tikiman linked with the Rhythm And Sound crew and his flowing roots-reggae vocals and desire to push the boundaries of bass and sound led him to forge a partnership that would go from strength to strength and produce some of the world’s most innovative dub.
The New Zealand massive can catch Tikiman alongside Rhythm and Sound (Mark Ernestus) on their New Zealand tour in Christchurch (29 January), Wellington (30 January) and Auckland (31 January).
