Acroline

Acroline/Lady Sattva first swooned for Prince Buster on a ghetto-blaster at the tender age of 15. Intrigued about the lack of women in the industry, she started jamming on turntables four years ago and is working hard to break down barriers for women selectors, DJs and producers.

Acroline’s sound is slightly eclectic and ranges from heavy juicy dubs to crazy ragga jungle styles, via roots, rocksteady, soul, ska, dancehall and hip-hop.

Acroline plays Homebass on Radio Active in Wellington every other Thursday (11pm-1am) and is always happy to collaborate with toasters, MCs, mixers and mashers.
