Danny Lemon is a huge influence on sound system culture in Wellington and New Zealand.

He established The Roots Foundation, one of the first and pioneering sounds in Aotearoa, which forwarded reggae music throughout the country for more than ten years.

He helped to establish the Radio Active Roots and Culture Show, curated the Reggae Explosion exhibition and continues to collect and spread some of the heaviest and best reggae throughout Aotearoa.

You can catch him laying down a two-hour set this Saturday 4 August with Firehouse, Jafa Mafia & Yardwise @ The San Francisco Bathhouse.
