Firehouse – L.Static, Nardo & Adrian – hail from Sydney and this ranking reggae crew always rock a dance. Their big bad selection of reggae, dancehall and exclusive dubplate is delivered in deadly sound system style.

The irrepressible L.Static is well known to international vinyl dealers for his voracious appetite for music and is a regular visitor to Jamaica where he has been known to hole up for 3 day ‘sessions’ in the Dynamic vaults at Bell Road.

Nardo is a stalwart of Sydney’s sound, design and zine scene, and his reputation as a purveyor of top drawer reggae selection burns bright.

The riddim maestro and former Greensleeves Records staffer Adrian is the new man on the block. From ska to early 80s, he plays deeper than deep selections.

Firehouse have featured artists like Sheriff Lindo, Ras Ronnie, Mat Ottignon, Jeff Dread and the Mighty Asterix on their sets, have supported international reggae stars like Lee Perry, Burning Spear, the Gladiators and Earl 16 and recently took on the Jafa Mafia Crew (AKLD) for Round One of the first Trans-Tasman Soundclash.

The N.Z. massive will be lucky enough to check Firehouse in Auckland for Round Two on February 17 and at Soundsplash in Raglan on February 23.

Nuff respect to Firehouse for their Top Track Selections for February 2007.
