2020 is starting out with a bang for Jah Red Lion, with a new single and video. The single ‘Wicked Affi Run Weh’ is a return to his reggae roots. A rub-a-dub anthem riding on top of a solid riddim, with production from Tiopira McDowell of High Stakes Records.
The lyrics are righteous and conscious, forewarning the wicked that their time is fast running out and the next generation will chase them out. The single is a timely dedication to the children of the world, celebrating the next generation of change-makers and the hope they give towards bringing an end to the devastation and destruction that previous generations have started.
The accompanying video production look and feel is also well done, courtesy of director Sebastian Vidal Bustamante of Sono Audiovisual.
