Following on from his wicked Warrior EP, DJ, producer and remixer Jstar now teams up with Max Rubadub on his latest release.
Max Rubadub out of Switzerland started his career as a member of the well-known Riot Sound System, with which he travelled all over Switzerland and Europe. Going solo he has gained notoriety as a DJ and for his acclaimed remixes for artists like Chali 2na and Cypress Hill and for a variety of labels such as Irish Moss Records, Cast-a-Blast, Gideon Production and his own RubaDub Blends.
His musical influences range from dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, moombahton to dubstep, if it gets or keeps the party cranking Max is down for it and more than happy to mix and mash it up.
Also well-known for his remixes, Jstar’s substantial back catalogue includes artists like Major Lazer, Busta Rhymes, Gang Starr and Blackstreet.
‘Dem Nah Ready’ features South African vocalist Crosby on this modern take of an up-tempo, early 80’s style dancehall riddim. This tune is a crowd pleaser to keep the floor moving.
